+ Thinking about the future is dizzying and difficult to stay grounded in the present. But it's all good. Just have to remember that when I return to the same old shit in a week or so. Keep positive.

Peter Jennings 1938-2005

+ I rarely watched the evening news, and when I did choose to tune in, I chose Tom Brokaw on NBC. I never cared for Dan Rather over at CBS. And not often did I watch Peter Jennings on ABC, but he had "always been there". A fixture, a household name. He always struck me as a very good man. I knew he had lung cancer, I had seen the broadcast in which he announced his illness. But his passing seems too sudden still. And I am greatly saddened. He was a man I would've liked to have met.
